Helping mobile network operators better serve subscribers
(Same mission, different name. We changed our name from Ubiquitilink to Lynk.)
For the world’s 800 mobile network operators (MNOs), the Lynk service solves a fundamental economic problem of expanding coverage into remote areas. Adding new cell towers in areas with a limited customer base costs too much. But the Lynk network of satellites will allow MNOs to monetize service to rural areas while also attracting new customers who previously didn’t have mobile service.
Lynk plans to closely partner with MNOs who will provide the Lynk service to their subscribers. Lynk estimates that, over the long term, providing this additional subscriber service could generate as much as $400 billion in additional annual revenue.
